Slow (Pathetic) News Headline

For today's front page, the New Haven Register wrote about 20-year-old weather:

In the twister’s path: Business owners, residents recount historic weather

As a former paper boy for this company, this is truly pathetic: (1) no one died in the storm, (2) it happened on July 10, 1989--nothing to do with July 4th, and (3) why is it news?
There are plenty of other issues happening--even a local Michael Jackson fan story would have been better . . .

On the other hand, the Register has filed for bankruptcy and has very few people left reporting. Interestingly, even last year, they Register itself had great profit margins (I think near 20%). However, the parent company had laden itself with so much debt that 90% profit margins probably couldn't pull it out.
