Great Quote

The story is very long-but worth it. It follows a young family, dad at age 20- through his daily life and hardships which are increasingly harder with the current economic situation. However, even after you read about how hard the family has it, you are left feeling optimistic becuase of the quote the writer finishes with.

"Me and him are gonna grow up together," Bobby says.

This quote is about his youngest son. Really touching!

Also!- Touching on last night's class, the writer did not "clean up" quotes. I think this was to preserve the young/lack of education/ sincerity of the subject.

He sounds resigned. "Her disorder ain't never gonna go away." He also says that he and Lori have talked about a May wedding next year, not because they want to get married, really, but because Catholic teaching tells them they should.
