In Defense of Sarah Palin

I thought this was so interesting given our discussion last night about trying to make sense of an incoherent speech. Though this is an opinion peice, I think Fish is actually practicing better journalism-- and in some sense more objective listening-- than others who covered this event. Fish uses quotes and paraphrase to allow Palin's message be "understood" as opposed to quoting her directly.

Do you think he does a better job of representing her meaning than the mainstream media did?
